Dollar Bar Club ("DBC", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Dollar Bar Club mobile application and website at dollarbarclub.com. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you claim your membership, we collect your email address and ZIP code. We use your email as your member identity and your ZIP code to verify you are in a supported market area.

Location data. When you choose to redeem an offer, we request your device's GPS location to verify you are physically at the venue. Location is checked only at the moment of redemption — we do not track your location in the background or store location history beyond the redemption record.

Usage data. We record which offers you have redeemed and when, to enforce single-use entitlements and provide your redemption history.

How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your DBC membership
To verify your eligibility (Austin-area ZIP code)
To verify your physical presence at a venue during offer redemption
To prevent duplicate redemptions
To communicate with you about your membership (if applicable)

Location Data

DBC uses your device's location services solely to verify you are at a participating venue when redeeming an offer. This requires your explicit permission via the standard operating system prompt. You may deny location access at any time through your device settings — redemption will not be available without location verification, but all other app features remain functional.

We do not sell, share, or use your location data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose beyond on-site verification.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with:

Participating venues — Anonymized redemption counts so venues can track offer usage. Venues do not receive your email or personal details.
Service providers — Infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.

Data Retention

We retain your membership and redemption data for the duration of your membership. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

DBC is intended for users aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. DBC offers are for alcoholic beverages at participating bars and are subject to legal drinking age requirements.
